Not every truck needs a wrap. If the paint is in good shape and the colour works, cut vinyl lettering and decals put your name on the doors, your number on the tailgate and your logo on the box, with the truck itself as the background. It is the classic way work trucks have been branded for decades, and it still does the job.
We cut lettering to order at our Mississauga shop: business names, phone numbers, websites, service lists and unit numbers, plus printed decals when a logo needs full colour. Everything is laid out on a proof of your truck first, so you see sizes and placement before a single letter is cut.
What you get
- Door lettering for both sides: company name, phone number and website
- Tailgate and rear lettering, the panel traffic behind you reads longest
- Cut vinyl logos, or full colour printed decals where a logo needs them
- Unit numbers and fleet numbering applied in a consistent style
- A placement proof showing sizes and positions on your truck
- Colours chosen to contrast with your paint so the text stays readable
Who it is for
Trades and service companies that need a clean, credible truck without a full design project. Owners adding a first truck to the business. Fleets that need numbering and consistent door branding across vehicles that do not match. Lettering is also the practical choice for leased trucks, because it comes off cleanly when the truck goes back.
It pairs well with a partial wrap, too. Printed panels carry the picture, lettering carries the details, and the two are designed together so the truck reads as one job.
How it works
- Quote. Send the truck details and the wording you want on it. We price the lettering and any decals from that list.
- Design proof. We set the type, lay it out on your truck's template and send a proof with sizes noted. You check spelling and numbers letter by letter.
- Cut and print. Lettering is cut from coloured vinyl; logos print as decals where full colour is needed.
- Install. Panels are cleaned, letters are positioned from measured marks, applied and checked for level and spacing.
- Pickup. We go over the truck with you and explain care, which for lettering mostly means keeping pressure washers off the edges.
Questions
What information should go on the truck? Start with the company name, a phone number and a website. Add a short service list if there is room, and a unit number if the truck is one of several. More than that gets hard to read at speed.
How is lettering different from a partial wrap? Lettering is individual cut pieces applied straight onto the paint, so your truck's colour is the background. A partial wrap covers whole panels with printed film. Lettering costs less and changes more easily, panel coverage makes the bigger visual statement.
Can lettering be changed or removed later? Yes. A phone number, a name or a whole side can be peeled and replaced without touching the rest, and all of it removes cleanly when a truck is sold or returned.
