Food Truck Wraps

A food truck has seconds to work. People scan a row of trucks at a festival or a lunch lot and walk toward the one that looks like lunch. A wrap does that work: your name readable from across the lot, your colours unmistakable, and a serving side that looks as good as what comes out of it.

We design, print and install food truck wraps at our Mississauga shop for trucks working Toronto and the GTA. The design is planned around the truck's working hardware from the first sketch, so the picture and the serving window, vents and doors all land where they should.

What you get

  • A full design laid out on your truck's template, serving side first
  • Graphics planned around the hatch, order window, vents and service doors
  • Large name treatment and colours chosen to stand out in a row of trucks
  • A menu area handled as its own board or replaceable panel, separate from the main wrap
  • Matching artwork for the rear and the street side, so the truck looks finished from every angle
  • Printed, laminated film that stands up to regular washing and kitchen-side splashes wiped down promptly

Who it is for

New trucks launching a concept, and established trucks whose look no longer matches the food. Festivals, markets, corporate lunches and private events all reward the truck people can spot and remember. If customers photograph your truck for social media, and they will, the wrap is the backdrop in every shot.

It also suits a truck changing concepts entirely. A tired second-hand truck in another business's colours becomes yours in one job, without paint, and the old identity is gone from every panel.

How it works

  1. Quote. Send photos of all four sides and tell us where the serving hatch, windows and vents sit. We price the coverage you choose.
  2. Design proof. We build the design around the openings and hardware and send proofs of every side for your approval and changes.
  3. Print. Panels print sized to the truck's sections and are laminated for outdoor and kitchen-adjacent use.
  4. Install. The truck is washed and degreased, film goes on panel by panel, and openings and edges are trimmed by hand.
  5. Pickup. We open the hatch and doors with you to check clearances, walk every side, and go over washing and care.

Questions

How do you handle the serving window, hatches and vents? They are measured into the template before design starts. The film is cut around openings and hardware during installation, and the artwork is composed so faces, logos and key lines do not land on a vent or a seam.

I change my menu and prices often. How does that work with a wrap? Keep the menu off the main wrap. We fit it as a separate board or a small panel that can be reprinted on its own, so a price change costs a panel, not a rewrap. Many trucks leave a clean framed space in the design for exactly this.

How do I wash the truck without hurting the wrap? Hand wash with a mild soap and a soft mitt, and rinse well. Keep pressure washers off the film edges, and wipe cooking grease off the kitchen side promptly rather than hitting it with strong degreasers, which are hard on film.
